Main Review of the PSB 10.8 LI-2 Cordless Drill/Driver

If you haven't bought a drill/driver in a few years, you will be amazed at how the technology has changed. Years ago a 10.8 volt battery would be unheard of, and would have been pretty useless. These days, these smaller batteries just help to make the drills lighter, and the power is simply fantastic.

The PSB LI-2 is really useful as it is compact and light, and will allow you to work easily in areas that are tight for space. The battery lasts for ages, and charges up really quickly. The hammer action works very well, and changing bits is about as simple as it can be.

I have summarised what the buyers liked about this particular model just below, and also what they didn't like.

  • Small compact drill with excellent power
  • This battery has such a long life before it needs a charge

Our Conclusion & Recommendation on the PSB 10.8 LI-2

Value for Money

Given the quality of this drill, and the excellent buyer ratings, I am of course going to recommend this particular drill/driver. There were a couple of buyers who had problems with tightening the chuck.

You can get that replaced under warranty, so that should take care of that issue, if you are unlucky to be in that position.

It is not a cheap purchase. That said you have a high quality product, from a high reputation brand. It is a tool that will last you for years, with just a little maintenance. That is why we rate it so highly in terms of value for money.
