Black and Decker Cordless Drills Reviews UK

Best Black & Decker Cordless Drill/Drivers in the UK

Most people will agree that in the world of tools, and especially here in the United Kingdom, this is a well known brand. Their distinctive black and red colours make their brand pretty easy to spot. They are also considered to be one of the more affordable choices for many UK buyers.

This is especially true when compared to other tool brands such as Dewalt and Bosch. In this article we look at the top 10 Black and Decker Cordless Drill/Drivers that are currently available on the UK market.

Black and Decker - The Company & Brand

Over the past century, Black & Decker has become a household name, famous for high quality and innovative products. Making the job easier has always been at the forefront of Black & Decker’s mission. They are a US based company that originated in Baltimore. They make a whole range of tools, gardening tools, and home equipment.

Generally speaking they are considered to be at the more affordable end of the power tool brands. Their motto is to try and simplify the world of DIY and create tools and products that make the task quicker and easier to perform. They have been around for many years, just over 100 in fact, and they have been responsible for many "firsts" to market.

Who Buys Black and Decker Drills?

We have used a lot of Black and Decker tools over the years, and we think they do offer a good budget range of tools.

That makes them a very good choice for someone who just wants a half decent drill, and does not want to break the bank. You will notice however at the lower price points, they are still using the older style NiCad batteries, and that will usually make those a cheaper model.

We would recommend getting a cordless drill with a Lithium-Ion battery as they will just last you far longer. That said, if money is tight right now, a cheaper model with the older battery will last for about 2-3 years, depending on how much use, you plan on giving it.

If undecided, we would recommend getting a drill with the Li-Ion battery, as it will last you for many years.

Below we have listed the Top 10 Black and Decker cordless drills by those that have received the highest rating. These ratings are taken from Amazon buyers, who have bought and used the product.

They have then taken the time to leave a review. At least that way, you know that it is based on the opinions of a whole range of buyers, and not just the opinion of one or two people.
