Best Dewalt Battery Charger UK Reviews 2022

In this article review and explain what Dewalt battery chargers are available on the UK market. Normally you get a charger when you buy a cordless drill or another cordless product from Dewalt. If this tool is on the XR range, then the battery can be used by any Dewalt cordless tool.

Chargers can go faulty and also get lost, so there will be times when you need to buy one, either as a replacement, or a new one. I know a few people who have been given a Dewalt cordless tool, but they were not given the battery or charger with it.

You can normally buy these at places like Screwfix, eBay or direct from the manufacturer. You can also get them online at Amazon UK.

What Dewalt Battery Chargers Are Available?

Most of the Dewalt chargers are suitable for charging the most popular battery types. These are the Dewalt 10.8V, the 14.4V and the 18V XR batteries.

Dewalt Battery Charger Buying Tips

All Dewalt tools, including their batteries and the chargers come with a standard one year warranty. They are not eligible for the extended 3 year warranty when you register online.

Dewalt have a 3 year extended warranty policy but only for certain products and only when you register that product online. Unfortunately this does not include batteries or chargers.

If the charger goes faulty in the first 12 months then please don't tamper with it and simply get it fixed under warranty. Any type of tampering will immediately make your warranty invalid.

Storing the Charger

The amount of use that your charger will get is simply down to how often you need to charge your battery or batteries. Many of these are wall mountable which is handy. However we strongly recommend that when not in use, that you turn it off at the plug.

Also try to have it in a dry place. If wall mounted and it isn't going to be used for a while, then slip it off the wall and store it away.
