How To Use a Kreg Jig

My Verdict on the Kreg Jig Model 256272

I have no hesitation in recommending this jig. All buyers really like this jig, and it is an excellent product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. My only objection is the price. At around £70, this is certainly not a cheap tool.

That said for doing pocket holes, this will save you lots of time. This is especially true if you are drilling similar thicknesses of wood all the time.

It is however excellent quality and will save you hours of time. You can use this with any screws, but clearly the manufacturer are going to recommend their own. Those are also not that cheap, but they work wonderfully well with this jig.

The screws I have shown above are from Kreg and they cost around £28-30 for about 675 pieces. These are high quality screws and suitable to use with their jigs.
